Blockonomics Heads to bitcoin++ Berlin: Building the Future of Bitcoin Payments

This October, the Bitcoin community will gather in Berlin for one of the most focused events of the year. bitcoin++ Berlin, payments edition, runs from October 1 to 3, 2026, at w3.hub. Over three days, builders, developers, and merchants will come together for a hands-on showcase dedicated to payments on Bitcoin.

The program mixes practical talks, workshops, and a full hackathon complete with a prize pool. Two stages will host sessions side by side, while satellite events around the city extend the conversations beyond the main venue. Tickets remain available, though prices have risen in stages throughout the year. Attendees can pay in Bitcoin, and a limited student and local rate is still offered for those who qualify. For Blockonomics, the timing and theme feel especially relevant. Since 2015 we have focused on one core idea: merchants should be able to accept Bitcoin and other supported coins without giving up control of their funds. Our approach has always been non-custodial.
